A Little Bit More

Another side has been added to my hubby's SSDIY quilt.  I know for some, watching this thing grow so slowly might be akin to watching paint dry.  However, I truly love watching it get bigger and bigger.  I still have quite a few more rows/columns to add until I get to focus on the blue again,  I can't wait for that!

Sweet Little Corah

This is a quilt made for a very special little girl.  Corah, is 2-years-old and her body has decided to not work as it should.  The prognosis is very grave and I won't go into details.  When I heard about it, God told me to make this quilt for her, even which fabrics to use.  I made this quilt in record time, glory to be God.  My family and I prayed over it, we pray that every time she uses it that she receives not only comfort but healing.  We are praying for miracles.  I can report that she likes the quilt and pointed at the horses while saying, "neigh-neigh".  For all prayer warriors out there, please add Corah to your lists.

BOA Shirts

I was so proud of how well my baby girl (21 years old, but still my baby girl) did on the painting for the Blessings of Abraham mystery quilt project, that I decided to surprise her.  I had matching shirts for the two of us made up.  She likes it when we dress to match, so I got them for an upcoming retreat, where we can be twinsies.  Keep in mind, we already have matching jammies and socks, and coordinating snack bags for the trip.  She is so much fun!!!

The Blessings of Abraham

My incredibly gifted daughter, Hailey E. Crenshaw, painted this beautiful work of art specifically for our Bible Mystery Quilt: The Blessings of Abraham!  Now, I am even more excited for this project to get under way.

SSDIY

It is almost time for the Bible Devotion Mystery Quilt Challenge -- Blessings of Abraham to start!  And I'm so thrilled.  I can't wait to be able to share what I've done and see what others do.  Since I can't share that with you right now though, I'm sharing my leader and ender project, SSDIY.

SSDIY stands for "Signed, Sealed, Delivered, I'm Yours!"  It's a postage stamp quilt I'm making for my hubby, David.  Each piece finishes at 1" square.  The quilt will require at least 8100 squares to complete.  It has been slow going, but I love adding on each new row or column.
